In the mornings our teacher Mrs Grace has been putting videos that make our minds curious. Today we tried to do some of the things in the videos.
What I found challenging:
Was the marble run because the part in the run I was making wasn't working. I had to use a lot of perseverance.
What I found easier:
Having the freedom to take a break and try something new.

Snowman Invasion
It was evening when they came…
I had first seen them through the
sitting room window, as I peeked
out cautiously through a gap in the
curtains I saw them. Opening the
front door the white snowmen
were standing there as hard as
rock.I took a quick breath and
went to bed.I woke up I thought
I heard someone open the door.
I creped down stairs. My heart
was thumping ,my teddy in my
hand. I heard it again and again.
I saw light seeping under the door
someone came out.I fell down
the stairs a snowman heard me
fall. Then the lights turned out.
I thought I could escape.
But someone had put a sack over
my head I was taken
more like dragged away into the
night.I could barely see
the glow of a car's headlights
though the sack. I was put
in the car. Someone took the sack
of my head. There was
a figure like a woman then she spoke
“it’s okay darling it'll be alright!” the
woman said. It sounded like my aunt
Jill it was and my uncle Bill was driving.
But who's in the passenger seat?.
I asked my aunt she said it was
uncle Bill's mate john. She said that
the snowmen attacked the bar they
were at. They barely escaped
but my parents didn’t they had
been killed.I burst into tears, sobbing
into my handkerchief. Aunt Jill said “we
were in danger and we
had to run away to mexico’’. I hugged
my teddy tight. There was a cop up a
head uncle had forgot about the
border. He let us though he said “ that
we have to go further than Mexico
and we have to go to New Zealand!’’.
I finally fell asleep but i woke up to
knocking on the window it was snowman.
John got out was attacking the snowman
he was frozen. Uncle Bill started the car
and drove away. We got on a boat the
snowmen standing on the beach some
were more like puddles than snowman.
When we got to New Zealand
there was no accommodation.
For a few nights we were
sleeping on the streets.finally a spot
opened up in a hotel. When we found
out we sprinted all the way there
but we were to late someone got there
before us, but the hotel manager offered
a room in the attic. We exploded
with joy. We got the key and ran
up stairs and jumped on the bed straight away.
